Why do I have to pay my order in advance, by bank transfer or Paypal?
* Well we want to be cheap. Our prices are calculated on prepaid orders only to avoid any costs for losses. This is why we only offer money order, Paypal Bank or - in Germany - Cash on delivery.

Money order: The simple, safe and fast option
You have to do: Pay in advance to our bank account
The money arrives: One or two days delay within Germany and often in the EU, outside the EU it may take longer
We ship your order: Normally on the same day we receive the payment

Paypal Bank: Sometimes fast if you have an account there, but expensive costs for us
You have to do: You need an account by the Paypal Bank in Luxembourg
The money arrives: Just in time, if you have money on you Paypal account, if not it may take some days
We ship your order: Normally the day after receiving the payment

Cash on delivery: Pay directly to the Hermes driver at your door.
You have to do: Chose Cash on delivery and pay directly to the Hermes driver, when you receive the shipment.
This are the costs: You pay additional 5,50 € COD - fee

I live in Switzerland, what do I have to attend for?
*Unfortunately the shipping costs to Switzerland are so high that shipping (about 2 kg) a package with DHL is mostly uninteresting. A well-interest uninsured parcel (DHL) - depending on the content - but worthwhile sometimes.

* But here is a litte hint:
If you stay in Germany sometimes or have somebody here, have the order sent to a Hermes Paketshop in Germany, e.g. near the border to Switzerland. Then we can charge German shipping costs. And you can pick it up there with no problem. Please note that you must declare the items by yourself at the customs. We grant a refund of VAT only if you prove to us the customs clearance.

* Also bank transfers sometimes make troubles: In most cases the format was not filled out correctly. Keep in mind that the valuta is Euro (EUR) and use SEPA, the new European banking system. Using this, banking cost should be lower.

I am the owner of a business, are there any discounts for businessmen?
Yes , we offer discounts for businesses. But normally you will have to pay in advance (minimum for your first orders), too.
Paypal and cash on delivery are not possible.

Step 1	10% discount
Prerequesits:	- presentation of business licence - no order via Paypal or cash on delivery - no prevoius minimum sales volume
Discount-permission:	- 10% on the shop price - excluding special offers, kilns and courses
Debit:	next order after presentation of business licence

Step 2	20% discount
Prerequesits:	- presentation of business licence - For discounts on ART CLAY - products presentation of min. Level-1 Certificate - no order via Paypal or cash on delivery - if 600 € minimum sales volume total is exceeded (without kilns, courses only from Desicon)
Discount-permission:	- 20% on the shop price - excluding special offers, kilns and courses
Debit:	next order after completion of pre-condition

Step 3	30% discount
